The Surface Transportation Team
JUSDA’s Surface Transportation team routes and operates business within North America for internal and external clients. We operate LTL, full truckload, and intermodal freight with our more than 4,000 contract carriers. The bulk of our team is in Wisconsin, but we’ve also got team members in California and Washington supporting different aspects of the business. Our group is generally one of the louder, more boisterous teams in any setting, so the work-from-home environment has really lowered the in-office noise complaints (we’re an excitable bunch!).
The Surface team handles the life of a domestic order, from the initial quotation, through carrier selection, and all the way to another successful delivery. We pride ourselves in our strong carrier relationships and our desire to deliver the perfect order every time! The Surface team has coordinated thousands of shipments shipments in 2020, and is forecast for even bigger things in 2021 .
